At Only One Life Creations, we prioritize the safety and security of your packages during transit. Our shipping insurance policy is designed to provide coverage for loss, theft, and damage, ensuring your peace of mind.

Our shipping insurance covers the following incidents during transit:
- Loss: If your package cannot be located and is deemed lost by the carrier.
- Theft: If your package is confirmed stolen while in transit.
- Damage: If your package is delivered in a damaged condition.

**Owner Responsibility:**
To ensure eligibility for coverage under our shipping insurance policy, the package owner must adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Notify us: If you believe your package is lost, stolen, or damaged, please contact us immediately to initiate the claims process. Notification must be made within 14 days of the expected delivery date. **We may need additional information once filed.
  2. Only if the Package shows as "Delivered" we request the customer contacts their local USPS office first to request the GPS scan location/inquire about the lost package.(Often times this triggers the package to arrive or be found).
  3. We take it from here: After we verify the information provided and verify the lost/stolen/damaged package, we will send a replacement order at no additional cost.

**Limitation of Lost Packages Coverage (OOLC):**
To curb potential abuse of our shipping insurance policy, each customer will be restricted to coverage for a maximum $300 in lost packages per calendar year. This limitation encompasses the cumulative sum of lost packages claimed by the customer within the designated timeframe. If the limit is reached Only One Life Creations has the right to deny additional shipping insurance for any subsequent orders during that calendar year and it will be the customers responsibility to work with the carrier directly.

**Claims Process:**
Once notified, we will guide you through the claims process, which includes the following steps:
  1. Complete a claims form: You will be required to complete a claims form  providing details of the incident and any supporting documentation, such as photos of the damaged package and/or product.
  2.  Resolution: Depending on the outcome of the investigation, we will provide either a refund or a replacement for the lost, stolen, or damaged
  3. items covered by our shipping insurance policy.

  1. If a customer declines shipping insurance, they accept full responsibility for any lost, damaged, or missing packages. By opting out of insurance coverage, they acknowledge that the seller is not liable for any issues that may arise during transit. It will be the customers responsibility to work directly with the shipping carrier to resolve the uninsured package.
**Important Notes:**
- Timeframe: Claims must be initiated within 14 days from the date of notification of the issue.
- Cooperation: The package owner must cooperate fully with our claims process, including providing requested documentation and information.
- Limitations: Our shipping insurance policy may have certain limitations and exclusions. Please review the policy terms and conditions for details.

**Modification of Policy:**
We reserve the right to modify our shipping insurance policy, including coverage terms and conditions, at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
